Three goals.
Every day.
No excuses.
Triad is the habit app built on the Rule of Three — commit to three meaningful goals each day, track your streak, and build the consistency that actually lasts.
The Rule of Three
Simple by design. Powerful by discipline.
Every great result comes from a small number of focused actions, repeated. Triad makes that principle automatic.
Commit
Each morning, choose exactly three goals. No more, no fewer. The constraint forces clarity — you decide what truly matters today.
Execute
Work through your three goals with full focus. Triad tracks your progress and keeps the day's commitments front and center — no distraction, no drift.
Complete
Finish all three and the day is yours. Streaks build over weeks and months into the discipline that separates intention from identity.
App Screenshots
Everything you need. Nothing you don't.
A focused interface designed to reduce friction and keep your daily three front and center.
Features
Built with intention.
Every feature earns its place. Triad keeps what helps and leaves out what doesn't.
Rule of Three
Three goals, every day. The hard limit removes decision fatigue and forces you to prioritize what matters.
Streak Tracking
Watch your consistency compound. Daily and weekly streaks give you a powerful reason to keep the chain unbroken.
History Heatmap
A calendar view of every day you completed your triad. Patterns emerge and motivate future consistency.
Lock Screen Widget
See your progress at a glance without opening the app. A subtle reminder that today's three are waiting.
HealthKit Integration
Optionally link your health goals. Triad reads progress read-only — your health data stays private and on-device.
On-Device AI
Smart suggestions powered by Apple Intelligence — running entirely on your device. No cloud, no account, no data leaving your phone.
iCloud Sync
Your goals and history sync seamlessly across all your Apple devices via CloudKit — no account needed.
Zero Tracking
No analytics, no ads, no accounts. If iCloud is enabled on your device, your data syncs automatically across your Apple devices — directly through Apple's infrastructure, never through ours.
Visual Identity
Warm. Minimal. Yours.
An aesthetic that respects your attention — warm off-white tones in the day, deep obsidian at night. Gold used sparingly, only where it matters.
- Single accent color
Amber / Gold is used only for CTAs, completion states, and emphasis. Nothing competes with it.
- Warm neutrals only
Never pure white or pure black — the palette uses warm off-whites and deep obsidians that feel organic.
- No gradients, no shadows
Depth is created through subtle color differences between surfaces, not decorative effects.
- Generous whitespace
64px+ between every section. Room to breathe is a feature, not a bug.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions.
Short answers to the things people ask most.
Is Triad free?
Yes. Triad is completely free to download and use. No subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no ads.
Does Triad collect any of my data?
No. Triad doesn't collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking. Your goals and history live on your device, and sync between your own Apple devices via iCloud if you choose to enable it.
Why only three goals per day?
The Rule of Three is the entire point. A hard cap on three forces you to prioritize what actually matters today, removes decision fatigue, and keeps the daily commitment small enough to never miss. Most habit apps fail because they let you add too much.
Does Triad work well with Atomic Habits?
Yes — Triad is a natural companion to James Clear's framework. It operationalizes the core ideas: keep habits small, make them obvious (lock screen and home widgets), and never miss twice (streak tracking and the history heatmap make slips impossible to ignore the next day). Triad is not affiliated with or endorsed by James Clear or Atomic Habits.
How is Triad different from other habit trackers?
Most habit apps let you track unlimited habits, gamify everything, and quietly collect data. Triad does the opposite: a strict three-goal limit, no accounts, no tracking, no cloud servers. It's designed to get out of your way.
Does Triad sync between my iPhone, iPad, and Mac?
Yes, via iCloud (CloudKit). No account needed — if you're signed into iCloud on your Apple devices, your goals and history sync automatically. Sync happens directly between your devices through Apple's infrastructure; nothing routes through us.
Does Triad work with Apple Health?
Optionally, yes. Triad can read progress from HealthKit if you link a health-related goal (steps, workouts, mindfulness, etc.). The integration is read-only — your health data stays on-device and Triad never writes to or transmits it.
